Privacy policy notice

We have always cherished and protected the privacy of our members and visitors, to the highest degree. We have never shared information with anyone, and never analyzed or compiled private data about our members or visitors.

Nevertheless, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679, you'll find hereafter our detailed Privacy Policy.

What information do you collect about me?

For visitors, nothing.

For registered users, we only collect information strictly necessary for the site to function properly and safely, and guarantee the best possible security of your account:
  • We collect an email address that you provide when registering, to allow registration and prevent spam and posting abuse. (You can change this email in your User's control panel at any time. We recommend to keep a valid email in the case we had to contact our members for something really important.)
We collect the IP address you registered from and the one used for a post, for the security of your account and of the site.
We do NOT analyze posts or any activity to compile data about you and/or send it to anyone.

Do you use cookies?

The only cookies used are strictly technical cookies necessary to the correct functioning of the forums and site. They are not used for tracking, data collecting, or anything affecting your privacy.

(A cookie "is a small piece of data sent from a website and stored on the user's computer by the user's web browser while the user is browsing. Cookies were designed to be a reliable mechanism for websites to remember stateful information..." Wikipedia)

Are there third-party cookies anywhere on your site, forums, etc. ?

Absolutely NOT. No one is allowed to place cookies on our sites.

What do you do with my information? Am I tracked ?

Simply put, we do nothing.

We do not communicate, sell, or "monetize" your private info to anyone, in any case

We do not use, nor allow anyone to use, trackers or intrusive / third-party cookies

We do not track you, or try to identify you, with any technology

We do not use or welcome advertising

We are fully independent and not affiliated, associated, or belonging to anyone

Everything that you communicate to us remains here

You can check with various add-ons for your browsers that the above is true here on our forums or anything we host (like Ghostery, Ublock Origin, Privacy Badger, etc.)

How to delete my information?

Send an email to apleader @ athenpaladins.org

Deletion is total, nothing remains of your account

For the forums, you can ask for:
  • - Full deletion of information AND posts made
    - Full deletion of information BUT posts made remaining (with no way to contact or find information on you anymore)
    - Deletion of your remaining posts if you change your mind after your account is deleted with posts remaining

How to get a copy of the information you have on me?

The information is basically what you can see in your own User's control panel but you can send an email to require it to apleader @ athenpaladins.org

Please note that the answer can't cover any information your voluntarily provided yourself in a post. (And which is anyhow not used.)

What to do if I have another issue?
